NEBU - SAVINGS & BENEFIT JEWELRY SCHEME
(10 + 1.5 Month Benefit Plan)
This Savings & Benefit Scheme (“Scheme”) is operated by Nebu under the brand NEBU (“Company”, “NEBU ”, “we”, “us”).
1. Enrolment
1.1 Customers may enroll in the NEBU Savings & Benefit Scheme with a minimum monthly instalment of ₹1,000, payable only in multiples of ₹1,000.
1.2 The date of payment of the first instalment shall be considered the enrolment date.
1.3 Only individuals aged 18 years and above are eligible. NEBU may request valid KYC documents.
1.4 Companies, partnership firms, proprietorships, trusts, HUFs, NRIs, international users, and minors are not eligible.
1.5 Once enrolled, the monthly instalment amount cannot be changed.
1.6 Customers may operate multiple schemes simultaneously. Merging of schemes may be allowed at NEBU ’s discretion.
2. Scheme Structure & Customer Benefit
2.1 The customer shall pay 10 fixed monthly instalments.
2.2 Upon successful payment of all 10 instalments and completion of the maturity period, NEBU shall provide a benefit equivalent to 1.5 times one monthly instalment, subject to this Scheme.
Illustration
- Monthly instalment: ₹10,000
- Total customer contribution: ₹1,00,000
- NEBU benefit: ₹15,000
- Total eligible value for purchase: ₹1,15,000
2.3 The benefit is applicable only against jewelry purchase and does not represent interest, assured returns, investment income, or price protection.
3. Maturity Period & Lock-In
3.1 The Scheme shall mature upon completion of 11 calendar months (330 days) from the enrolment date.
3.2 Early redemption is strictly not permitted, even if all instalments are paid before maturity.
3.3 The customer must wait for the full maturity period to become eligible for redemption.
4. Redemption on Maturity
4.1 Upon completion of the maturity period, the customer becomes eligible to redeem the total Scheme value (instalments paid + applicable benefit) against jewelry purchase.
4.2 The purchase must be made within 30 days from the maturity date.
4.3 Redemption is allowed only against jewelry purchase and not as cash, cheque, bank transfer, wallet credit, store credit, or any other payout.
4.4 The Scheme value cannot be transferred to anyone or converted into any stored value or credit.
5. Purchase & Billing Rules
5.1 Redemption must be completed in a single purchase transaction.
5.2 The Scheme value may be used to purchase:
- Gold jewelry
- Diamond, gemstone, or studded jewelry
- Gold coins (subject to benefit restriction)
5.3 Jewelry shall be billed at the prevailing gold, diamond, and stone rates on the date of purchase.
5.4 Making charges, wastage, stone charges, GST, and other applicable charges shall be payable as per the final invoice.
5.5 Final billing value shall be determined based on actual product selection, prevailing rates, and invoice calculation at the time of purchase. Scheme value cannot be split, carried forward, or reused.
6. Gold Coin Purchase – Benefit Restriction
6.1 Customers may use the Scheme value to purchase gold coins.
6.2 If gold coins are purchased, only 50% of the applicable benefit shall be allowed.
Illustration
- Total benefit earned: ₹15,000
- Benefit applicable on gold coin purchase: ₹7,500
6.3 The remaining benefit shall not be applicable for gold coin purchases.
7. Loyalty Points Clubbing
7.1 Customers may club their NEBU Loyalty Points with the Scheme value at the time of purchase.
7.2 Loyalty Points usage shall be subject to NEBU Loyalty Programme rules and invoice-level caps.
7.3 Promotional or free loyalty points may be restricted at NEBU ’s discretion.
8. Pricing & Gold Rate Disclaimer
8.1 The Scheme does not lock gold prices.
8.2 NEBU is not responsible for any loss or gain due to fluctuations in gold, diamond, or stone prices.
9. Payment Terms & Compliance
9.1 The monthly instalment shall be due on the 5th of every month. A grace period shall be available until the 25th of the same month.
9.2 Payments made after the 25th may result in reduction or forfeiture of Scheme benefits, as per NEBU ’s internal Scheme rules.
9.3 PAN may be mandatory as per applicable laws.
10. Cancellation, Early Exit & Non-Completion
10.1 The Scheme cannot be cancelled during its tenure.
10.2 If the customer fails to complete all 10 instalments:
- No Scheme benefit shall be applicable
- Amount paid may be adjusted only against NEBU jewelry purchase
- No refund shall be made in cash, bank transfer, wallet, or any monetary equivalent
- Such adjustment must be completed within a period determined by NEBU , failing which the amount may lapse
11. General Terms & Disclaimer
11.1 This Scheme does not constitute an assurance, investment, deposit, savings, or guaranteed return.
11.2 NEBU ’s liability is strictly limited to the instalments paid and the applicable benefit.
11.3 NEBU reserves the right to amend, suspend, or discontinue the Scheme, provided such changes are not detrimental to customers already enrolled.
11.4 Any matter not covered herein shall be decided by NEBU , and such decision shall be final and binding.
11.5 All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Surat, Gujarat.
